How to Remove the Trailing Slash in WordPress

Trailing slash is that last slash on the end of a URL. Directories usually end with a slash. But articles ending with a slash can look odd to discerning eyes. If you’re using WordPress for your website, chances are your posts and pages end with a slash. The good news is, it’s very easy to remove that slash.

Here are the steps to remove the trailing slash in WordPress:

1. Log in to the dashboard of your WordPress site.

2. Go to Settings > Permalinks.

3. Remove the last slash from the end of your chosen URL format.

For example, if you chose Custom Structure and you chose to use your post and page titles as part of your URLs after your domain name, simply delete the last slash from /%postname%/.

4. Click on the Save Changes button.

It’s done!
